I had plans to celebrate "Old Stuff Day" as per HolidayInsights.com, but then I learned that today is Dr. Seuss's birthday, or at least it would be if he was still alive. And since celebrating all things Seussical sounded like a lot more fun than "old stuff" (although, if Dr. Seuss was still alive he would be pretty old -- 106 to be exact), we agreed that it was a Seussical kind of day.
So after considering making green eggs and ham to eat, I'm choosing instead to introduce my toddler to Dr. Seuss with the first ever reading (at least to her) of my favourite Seuss book. I bid you goodnight as I go off to read Oh the Places You'll Go to my sweet baby girl.
What did you do to celebrate today?
Tomorrow: Peach Blossom Day
