Backwards

Of the two options for celebration today -- Backwards Day or Inspire Your Heart with Art Day, we had hoped to celebrate art by visiting the Vancouver Art Gallery. But then we remembered that a dear friend of ours from our former congregation was on her way to Asia to serve with OMF, and that today was her commissioning service, so we opted to celebrate Backwards Day instead.

To do so, we enjoyed sleeping in this morning and going to church in the afternoon instead. A backward Sunday from what we normally enjoy to be sure. We also tried walking backwards, and I considered talking backwards that seemed too mentally exhausting. ;-)

What did you do to celebrate today?
