With Compliments

Mark Twain once said, "I can live for two months on a good compliment." Words of encouragement, affirmation, support -- a compliment can lift the spirits, give hope and make a bad day good.

Today was "Compliment Day," and while we struggled to be the right frame of mind to offer words of encouragement to each other today, we were reminded of how important affirmation is. Our toddler thrives on it, and so do we.

Did you compliment someone today? Are words of affirmation and praise for others given readily by you? Keep Mark Twain's words in mind as you go about this week, and make a point to make compliments more apart of your vocabulary!

What did you do to celebrate today?

Tomorrow: Opposite Day!
