Life is Precious

Once again my plans to celebrate a specific holiday on the random holiday list were set aside in honour of something more important. Conquering a crown roast seemed pretty insignficiant after spending yesterday morning with a friend as her mother slipped from this life into eternity. It gave me a new appreciation for the family waiting for me at home, and something to celebrate other than a roast, the meaning of my name or cereal. Life is precious; time is short.

How did you celebrate yesterday? And what will you do to celebrate today?

Today's random holidays: Be Nasty Day; International (Working) Women's Day; Aunt's Day; Plant a Flower Day; National Peanut Cluster Day
